About the project
UNSUNG VOICES
A 3-day live experience for people who don’t sing - or don't think they can sing.
Short daily live sessions
Cameras off. No singing required
You’re welcome to simply listen
This is for you if you don’t sing.
Maybe it wasn’t encouraged.
Maybe someone "said something" that shut you down.
If this page caught your eye
that’s enough.
What Unsung Voices is
Unsung Voices is a gentle, live, 3-day exploration of our relsationship with our singing voice, not as performance, but as something human and ordinary.
Each day, we’ll meet live for a short session. I’ll share a simple reflection, offer a gentle, optional inner practice, and leave plenty of space.
You don’t need confidence or experience.
You don’t need to join in.
You can simply turn up and listen.
What it isn’t
This is not:
-
a singing challenge
-
a performance space
-
a confidence bootcamp
No one will be invited to sing.
No one will be asked to speak.
No one needs to be on camera.
How the live sessions work
-
Each session is live on Zoom
-
You can choose how you attend:
-
join on Zoom
-
either with or without your camera on
-
-
A moderator will be present throughout to hold the chat and keep the space calm
-
Commenting is optional
-
Replays will be available
Sessions are short and designed to fit into your day.
Over the 3 days
-
Day 1: When and why voices go quiet
-
Day 2: What a voice actually is
-
Day 3: Safety and permission
Nothing to prepare.
Nothing to prove.
About me
I’m Heather Maîr Thomas, an award-winning singer and holistic voice coach.
For over 30 years, I’ve worked with voices of all kinds, from professional performers to people who were told, very early on, that singing wasn’t for them.
Again and again, I’ve seen that what people need first isn’t just technique.
It’s safety.
A gentle invitation
If something in you is curious, even quietly, you’re welcome to join us.
No pressure.
No expectation.
Just three days, held with care.

Come along, bring your curiosity...
